12月6-14日台湾学习之旅

39名来自不同学校的华文老师聚集一堂，
观摩了台湾老师精彩的教学，
令大伙儿获益不浅！

此外，我们也游览了著名的旅游景点九份、野柳和太鲁阁，
吃尽各种富有特色的台湾小吃。

这9天的点点滴滴，
最令我觉得难能可贵的是能结交到好些个志同道合的朋友。
正所谓有缘千里来相会，
虽然我们都是新加坡老师，
但在去台湾之前，
我们从未相识，
真的很高兴认识她们！

这趟的台湾学习之旅可说是不虚此行！

2009 INNOVATION CARNIVAL- 弟子规游戏

感谢黄老师、李老师、杨老师和林老师发挥创意，
想出那么好玩的游戏活动来娱乐大家！
感谢全体华文老师，
在Carnival 的前一天，
呆到那么晚，
帮忙四位老师布置与筹备！

根据统计调查，
弟子规游戏在欢迎度方面获得第二名哟！
非常不错的成绩！

当天，
我看见有好多同学不死心，
玩了一次又一次。
有好多问题都有一定的难度，
幸亏同学们会回答，
否则又得重新排队了...

听到颁奖典礼上那首古筝弹奏曲《笑傲江湖》，
我不禁回想起去年成立古筝团时的点点滴滴。
当时，有两名女生难过地对我说她们想放弃古筝。
听到那么泄气的话，
我怎么不难过？
还好，
家长们都鼎力支持并鼓励孩子坚持下去，
不让她们半途而废。
今天，
看见她们精彩的演出，
我打从心里笑了！

她们终于成功了！
但，
她们的成功，
真的得来不易！
有多少颗期盼着她们成功的心，
默默地分担着她们的喜怒哀乐，
为的就是像今天这样，
能坐在观众席上，
看着她们为大家弹奏一曲《笑傲江湖》。

看着孩子获奖，
家长脸上露出的笑容，
是那么灿烂与自豪！

孩子们，
不知你们是否能体恤父母养育你们的辛苦，
如果你们能明白，
就一定要孝顺父母！

National Seed Symposium Sharing on "No Heavy School Bag DI ZI GUI CL Programme"

Synopsis of Sharing:

Endeavour Primary is one of the five Prototype Schools in Singapore. We are prototyping the ‘NO HEAVY SCHOOL BAG’ (NHSB) Programme – A Whole School Approach that leverages on ICT so as to engage pupils in TLLM activities. Using P2 Di Zi Gui (弟子规) SEED CL Programme as an example, we will illustrate how we use Constructivism as an approach to help pupils develop SEL Skills, Collaborative and Independent learning skills.

Community Involvement - Lantern Festival
Earlier this year, the EL Drama group performed at Chong Pang CC.

In the past 18 months, whenever we were approached by the community to contribute an item for a public performance, we had to turn down the request as we felt our CCA groups were not quite ready.

Recently, the Jelutong CC and neighbourhood RCs organised a Lantern Festival. It was held on 3 October, and they had invited our pupils to put up a performance. This time, we felt we were ready, and two groups decided to take part.

On the day of the performance, I was at Jelutong CC to support the pupils. When I saw their performance, I felt so proud of them. So young they were, and yet they showed so much confidence.

To the pupils, I salute you. Endeavour is very proud of you.

The topics they would be talking about are:
1) 为什么运动鞋底上刻有花纹?

Zhudeng's interview would be on Tue while Yiying's would be on Thur.
